Kate Winslet has given birth to a healthy 9lb baby boy.

The 38-year-old actress and her newborn are 'doing great' after the birth at a hospital in Sussex on Saturday, her rep told MailOnline.

38歲的凱特通過經(jīng)紀人向《每日郵報》透露，自周六在蘇塞克斯一家醫(yī)院誕下男嬰后，媽媽和寶寶都感覺良好。

The spokeswoman added that that the new mother and husband Ned Rocknroll were 'thrilled to bits.'

The newborn is a third child for Kate, but a first for her husband. The baby joins Mia, 13, and Joe, nine, from Kate's first two marriages.

Winslet kept her last name on her marriage, saying: 'I was never going to change my name to Rocknroll. I've never changed my name to anything so I didn’t see a reason to start now.'

While pregnant Kate has been busy promoting her new movie Labor Day, which will be released on December 27 in the U.S.
