收到邀請給人的印象應該是你很受某種活動歡迎，但不幸地是你不能參加你收到的所有邀請。

當婉拒邀請時，要感謝其慷慨，例如你可以說： "Thank you so much for the invitation, I really appreciate it and it means a great deal".（很感謝您的邀請，我真的很感激，這是個不錯的待遇。）然后給出一個關(guān)于為何你不能參加活動的確切原因。如果是一個誠實的、真誠的解釋就更好了。

可以考慮給邀請你的人一個禮物，順帶附注說你很抱歉無法出席。如果是口頭邀請，你每次都可以說你要查看你的日歷，如果有空的話就會去。如果你已經(jīng)做了優(yōu)先安排，，讓男、女主人知道一下，盡快打電話婉拒邀請并且一直關(guān)注活動進行的如何。不管是正式還是口頭邀請，應該圓滑地去婉拒邀請。

Helli:Hi Jerry, it’s my birthday this weekend and I am throwing a party to celebrate. （你好，Jerry，這周末是我的生日，我舉辦了一個派對來慶祝。）
